AIG Travel Assist Is Now DAN’s TravelAssist Provider
DAN TravelAssist services are provided by AIG Travel Assist of Houston, Texas.
With a strong support team that includes travel assistance coordinators, registered nurses and U.S. board-certified doctors who are fully trained to handle emergency situations, AIG Travel Assist offers life-saving assistance, emergency and travel services worldwide.
"Members of Divers Alert Network® still receive the usual TravelAssist advantages such as emergency evacuation and repatriation, prescription expenses, medical monitoring, worldwide medical information and assistance, return of dependent children, emergency cash advances and much more,” said Orr. “These benefits and services have always been in place and these same great services will remain available to DAN Members.”
Since the inception of the travel assistance program in 1992, DAN TravelAssist has evacuated members from a wide range of locations: from spots near a diver’s or a traveler’s home as well as Antarctica, the Caribbean and the South Pacific. The reasons have been as varied as the calls: a broken hip, gallstones, head injuries and decompression illness.
